Bisabolol is the active anti-inflammatory component of German chamomile. We put it in Daily Cream because most men shave their face or neck regularly, and razor burn is essentially micro-trauma followed by mild inflammation.
How it calms razor burn
When a razor blade passes over skin, it creates micro-abrasions that trigger your immune response: redness, heat, and stinging. Bisabolol inhibits the pro-inflammatory enzymes responsible for that cascade.
Why it works better than alcohol aftershave
Traditional splash aftershaves rely on high-proof alcohol to disinfect. That stings because alcohol dehydrates injured tissue. Bisabolol calms the reaction without drying out the barrier you just disturbed.
